About

WMF silver-plated biscuit box or bowl with original crystal liner. The glass is cut with stylised grape clusters and geometric foliage. Silver-plated mounts with diamond-shaped details, tree handles and feet, and a pierced finial on the lid. Illustrated in Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork from the 1906 WMF Catalogue, p. 252, model Nr. 244. Great antique condition.
