Pair of Louis XIV walnut fauteuils with shaped backs, scrolling arms, and turned legs joined by front and H-form stretchers. Upholstered in "Gros Point" Aubusson needlework with polychrome floral decoration on a cream ground. The walnut frames retain a rich patina, with replaced stretchers as a part of restoration.

This is one of three matching pairs of armchairs in our collection, deemed "Pattern A" – colorful, bright and festive.
