Wonderfull tall Majolica glazed ceramic vase with elongated base and top, and two figural handles, depicting winged nymphs. Richly decorated allover with distinctive geometrical and scroll patterns, and traditional motifs of mythological creatures. Two nearly similar portraits are located on the opposite sides of the vase in the centers of the body: oval shield shaped frame cameos with profiles signed "Lina" and "M_aria" with parcel-gilt background. Gilt is also showcased on different elements of the vase, with visible wear due to natural aging. Overall great condition without visible cracks or chips, colors of minimal yet vibrant palette (cobalt blue, iron red, yellow ochre on milky white ground) are well preserved. Exceptional level of details and craftsmanship. The base displays a signature "Gualdo Tadino Perugia" and a symbol of the moon with rays.
