Rectangular wooden coffee table with inset glazed ceramic tile top, composed of hand-painted tiles forming a continuous floral and botanical motif. The tiles are glazed and fired, one at the corner is signed "Vallauris", and set within a solid wooden frame with rectangular-section legs. Preserved in great vintage condition.

Vallauris is a historic centre of French studio ceramics, particularly active in the mid-20th century. From the 1950s to the 1970s, Vallauris workshops produced decorative tiles, furniture elements, and sculptural ceramics characterised by bold glazing, graphic floral motifs, and hand-crafted production.
