Walrus Ivory Handle Dagger (Kanjar)

Qajar dagger (kanjar, jambiyya) with curved double-edged damascened blade, hilted in finely carved walrus ivory. The handle is decorated with distinctive Persian florals and figures of  officers on both sides, in Dutch or French fashion attire, placed in arch-shaped frames. In great antique condition, minor wear on the surface and occasional chips on ivory. The stand is custom made for this piece and is included to the set.
