Seating suite in Neoclassical-style with Egyptian Revival motifs, comprises two mid-19th-century sofas and ten chairs in matching design, of which one chair is period and the remaining nine are later reproductions.
Constructed in molded and carved poplar, the frames are polychrome-painted in a vivid palette, featuring grotesque motifs, stylized florals, and mythological elements. The sofas are distinguished by eagle-head armrest supports and anthropomorphic front legs, the chairs feature griffin motifs on the backrests and similarly carved legs.
All pieces are upholstered in red cotton fabric with contrasting black felt applique in geometric patterns. The painted surfaces exhibit minor wear consistent with age. The set has undergone partial restorations and presents in stable condition.
