Collinson & Lock, established in London in 1870, quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality artistic furniture. They collaborated with leading designers of the period, including Godwin and Christopher Dresser, and became known for their Anglo-Japanese and Aesthetic style furnishings, often employing fine materials and inventive inlays.
