About

A pair of Japanese Meiji period table lamps in bronze. The body of the lamps are richly decorated with eagle relief and have a gilded bronze base and gilded bronze collar. Many of these Oriental bronzes were exported to France where they were further decorated with gilded bronze then exported around Europe. The orange shades are newly customized.
