Pair of crystal cake stands with polychrome and gilt Rococo decoration. Square crystal trays are raised by tall fluted stems on circular bases. The trays are decorated with hand-painted allegorical female figures in flowing drapery, surrounded by extensive gilt scrolling foliage and lattice ornament in Rococo Revival style. The bases and stems repeat the gilt decoration throughout. Preserved in very good antique condition, with minor wear to the gilt decoration consistent with age and use.
