A pair of bronze vases with gilt figurines of nymphs in Art Nouveau style. The bodies of the vases have exquisite aquatic and floral details with subtle patinated tones. Gilt bronze bases and rims are adorned with rocaille motifs. Signed and engraved by the creator.

Ferville-Suan (1847-1925) was a student of François Jouffroy at the Paris École des Beaux-Arts. Based in Montmartre, he created medaillons and statuettes in plaster, marble, and bronze. 

A Member of the Société des Artistes Français, he exhibited at The Salon (or so-called Paris Salon), the official art exhibition of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, from 1872 to 1909.
