About

A Victorian cast-iron daybed, with a green-painted frame and upholstered mattress. The two raised ends are joined by an apron cast with scrolling foliage, floral rosettes, and a central female mask. The frame is raised on four short legs terminating in castors. The painted surface shows areas of wear and patina consistent with age.
