About

An octagonal box was used to collect playing cards as represented at the top of its cover. The box is all over decorated with motifs of different cultures: Egyptian pyramids, sphinxes, Mesopotamian and Greek symbols, Chinese bells, and other artifacts. Four compartments inside. The original sticker (partially wiped) states: "Rochfort, Goldsmith, Jewellers, & Co, 212 Picadilly...". The key is missing.
