Fumio Otani (1929 - 1995) was a Japanese sculptor, that worked in "organic" abstract, free-form style. In his body of work, the artist used various materials, such as wood, metal or marble. Otani completed his training at the Beaux-Arts in Tokyo, then became a student of the famous sculptor Zadkine.
