The heraldic shield form frame hanging on a double chain. Behind the glass, the frame is lined with a beige taffeta embroidered with ribbons and gold threads in floral motifs and then mounted with gilt ormolu mounts in the form of foliage garlands. The teal velvet back opens in its original way.
