A French Louis XVI-style gilt-bronze hall lantern of cylindrical form, the frame hung with ribbon-tied swags and bead garlands. The central stem issues four scrolling candle arms above a circular base, all enclosed by curved glass panels. Surmounted by a suspension ring with shaped supports, the lantern rests on small gilt-bronze feet.
Minor surface wear to the gilding consistent with age; overall in great antique condition.
