About

North European tapestry panel woven in wool and silk. The composition centers on two figures wearing floral crowns and standing in a pastoral landscape with sheep, enclosed within a circular medallion. The border is richly decorated with large tulips, roses, and foliage on a blue ground. Later mounted and framed. Preserved in great antique condition.
