About

Vintage Egyptian revival lamp inspired by the iconic calcite chalice discovered in Tutankhamun’s tomb (18th Dynasty, c. 1330 BC). The cup, shaped as a blooming lotus, is flanked by openwork figures of the god Heh, kneeling on papyrus stalks — symbols of eternal life. Made from terracotta, it has intended aging effect on the surface.
