About

An English Aesthetic Movement buffet or display cabinet, constructed in ebonised wood. The architectural frame is arranged with a central glazed cupboard, flanking open shelves, turned supports, pierced geometric galleries, and multiple bevelled mirror panels. The upper section is surmounted by turned finials and a raised central mirror, while a long open shelf extends across the lower section. The cupboard and back panels have been newly lined in green botanical-patterned textile, replacing an earlier covering. The cabinet retains its glazed doors, shelves, mirrors (beautifully aged), and dark ebonised finish.
