Heavy and fine barrel-shaped crystal vase etched with grape and vine motif decorations and a geometric design on the top part. Some of the elements, such as grape tendrils, are engraved. The rims are ribbed and have scalloped edges, and the base features a star rosette. The vase is in good condition, with the cuts in the crystal catching and refracting light in a beautiful, dazzling manner. Some minor scratches are visible on the base. Not signed.
The pattern is similar to the “Rosettes & Grapes / Vintage” series by the American company Tuthill Cut Glass, renowned for its production of American Brilliant Cut Glass during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The “Rosettes & Grapes / Vintage” pattern is a notable example of the American Brilliant period, known for its intricate and highly detailed designs, created in heavy cut crystal.
