A cut crystal jug with silver-plated handle and lid mount in Victorian style. The hinged lid is crowned with a sculptural finial depicting a cherub riding a swan, the handle is cast in the form of a grotesque mask issuing floral swags and scrolling foliage. The body is decorated with deep geometric cuts and fan motifs typical of late 19th-century glasswork.
