John II Varley (John Varley Jr.) (British, 1850–1933) was the grandson of the renowned English watercolourist John Varley (1778–1842). He worked primarily in watercolour, producing landscapes and topographical views, often inspired by travel and coastal scenery. Varley exhibited in London and continued the family tradition of atmospheric landscape painting well into the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
