About
Chaise voyeuse chair from the third quarter of the 18th century, featuring a curved padded arm-rest and seat upholstered in close-nailed green leather. The cartouche-shaped back sits within a finely channelled frame, centred by a floral spray and raised on cabriole legs carved with flowerhead motifs. The frame shows traces of earlier paint layers and has been later redecorated.
