Bohemian Listovane* cobalt-blue glass part suite, comprising a lidded goblet together with 11 bowls and 12 matching stands. One pair of bowls and stands differs slightly in design but remains en suite with the remainder of the set. Each piece is decorated with gilt spiral ornament and oval/octagonal cabochon-cut cobalt panels reserved within a clear glass body. Preserved in great antique condition with minor wear to the gilding consistent with age.
*Listovane glass refers to a decorative Bohemian glassmaking technique in which colored glass elements are incorporated into a contrasting clear glass body, often creating the appearance of applied cabochons or inset jewels. The technique became particularly popular during the second half of the 19th century and remained in production into the early 20th century.
