About

An Art?Deco vase cast in rich green “malachite” pressed glass, with a high-relief sculptural frieze of six nude bacchante figures dancing beneath a canopy of grapes and vines. Minimalist octagonal base and polished rim. The satin-to-gloss surface exhibits depth and translucency typical of high-quality molded Czech glass of the period. Excellent original condition, with no chips or cracks.

Hoffmann & Schlevogt’s Ingrid collection, produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1920s–30s, featured luxurious molded and pressed glass objects in malachite and lapis colors. Curt Schlevogt and Heinrich Hoffmann collaborated to create high-relief decorative motifs – often mythological or botanical – within their distinctive “jade glass.”
