Pink Cloisonne Vase with Birds

Fine cloisonne (bronze and enamel) vase from Meiji Period, Japan. The dusty-pink body is beautifully decorated with figures of sparrows flying above sedge, and the rims are adorned with traditional motifs. The bottom and the inner side of the vase are enameled in teal "aqua" technique. Great condition and exceptional craftsmanship quality.
