A large calligraphy painting on canvas with a combination of words in "Siah-mashgh" technique (or black lettering). Faded lines, uneven textures, and color transitions are signatures of the series of 2010 "Persian Calligraphy" experiment by the artist. Signed and dated in Arabic.

Fereydoon Omidi (b. 1963) – is an Iranian artist, famous for his calligraphy works. Omidi's artistic journey is marked by solo exhibitions in his native city Tehran and a number of group exhibitions abroad including Japan, Venice, and Paris. The artist lives and works in Tehran and teaches at Azad University.
