Pair of hand-blown glass vases with long flared necks, decorated in technique of Decalomania. The center vignettes are depict gallant scenes with couples and are framed in matching floral bouquets. Completed with yellow hand-painted background, that shows signs of aging and some flaking. 

Decalomania is a decorative transfer technique, developed in the 18th century, that involves transferring designs from prepared paper onto another surface, typically using water, ink, paint, or another liquid medium while still wet. Decalomania saw a significant rise in popularity in the second half of the 19th century, particularly for decorative arts and crafts.
