A pair of early 19th-century three-seater Venetian canape sofas, also commonly referred to as 'fan'-shaped sofas. The frames are carved from wood, with serpentine padded backrests and seats, painted in a light blue-greyish color, featuring distinctive parcel gilt elements in the Baroque style. Each sofa is elevated by seven cabriole feet. The construction is lightweight yet durable and sturdy. The seats, armrests, and back panels have been newly upholstered in a mustard yellow velvety fabric, while the original geometric patterned fabric inserts under the armrests remain intact.
