Set of plaster intaglios framed under glass in a hexagonal frame covered with red marbled ‘Spanish wave’ paper. Each cameo is surmounted in brass and depicts Greco-Roman personalities, mythological scenes, and characters, including Roman Emperors and two rectangular scenes of chariot riders. Plaster Intaglios from the 19th Century are miniature souvenirs carried back by travelers on Grand Tours.
