Small French side table in Chinoiserie style. The black papier-mache tabletop is octagonal in shape with curved 'petals' and is adorned with a hand-painted and gilt floral basket composition in the center, along with floral motifs on the rims. The base is wooden and shaped like bamboo sticks, resting on a three-footed platform. Good condition with visible wear on the surface due to natural aging, small retouching.
