Fine French white ceramic tisaniere with white glossy finish. The base and the teapot design features Gothic Revival architectural motifs. Included candle bowl is marked on the base: “Gien Geoffroy & Cie.” Good condition with visible antique wear and signs of burning from candle.

Founded in 1821 by Thomas Edme Hulm, the Gien earthenware factory became one of Europe's most renowned for its imitation art and unique pieces. Despite financial challenges and name changes, it gained prominence in the 19th century, winning many awards at exhibitions, including World Fairs.
