Andre Sureda (1872-1930) was a French painter, draftsman, engraver, and illustrator. In the view of his contemporaries, he was one of the finest orientalist painters of his day, creating a delicate universe where feminine beauty and the charm of Arab gardens met the stories of the Thousand and One Nights.
