Jacques Grange

A French interior designer, born in 1944, was educated at the ‘Ecole Boulle’ and ‘Ecole Camondo’. He has a distinctive style in design, combining contemporary with traditional which he learnt from his muse, Madeleine Castaing, the art of decorating. Among his customers were Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld and Princess Caroline of Monaco. Grange bought an apartment in Paris, in 1980, which previously belonged to the French writer Colette at the ‘Palais Royal’ where he tried not refurbish the place completely to respect its main features.
