First edition of famous work by Thomas Edward Lawrence. "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" is a colonel's autobiography. In this book, the author recounts his experiences as a member of the British Forces of North Africa stationed in Wadi Rum (Jordan), during the Arab Revolt of 1916–1918.
The book was later adapted into the film "Lawrence of Arabia" directed by David Lean (1962).
