About

Guéridon table from “Memories of Normandy” collection.

The table opens with four belt drawers. The walnut top has in the center a mounted decoration in colorful reverse-painted glass centered by a rosette supported by Gothic arches.

Each arch represents a view different French cities: Rouen, St. Georges, Quillebeuf, Tancarville, Lillebonne, Le Havre, Orcher, Dieppe, Arques, Pourville, Luit, and Sanqueville. The grisaille rim with scenes from the history of France alternated from medallions to busts of characters.
